This song makes you aware of the human unconsciousness that allowed people to enslave a group of people and take them from their homes and make them fight in a war. A war that was nothing more than stealing land from other people. It brings to light how abusive and incomprehensibly ignorant humans can be. I appreciate how much it says without being preachy and full of hate and anger. Also I love the music. There are two versions of this song that I have heard. The first one (and my favorite) appeared on the original LE back in the 70's. Then when they made the album available on CD for some reason they put a different version of the song on. The newer version is slower and has less energy. Not sure why they did this. I have not been able to find the original recording.
