I'm breakin' rocks in the hot sun
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I needed money 'cause I had none
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I miss my baby and I feel so sad
I guess my race is run
Like she's the best girl I ever had
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I guess my race is run
Like she's the best girl I ever had
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I'm robbin' people with a six-gun
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I miss my baby and the good fun
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I miss my baby and I feel so sad
I guess my race is run
Like she's the best girl I ever had
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I guess my race is run
Like she's the best girl I ever had
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
WHEN WE DROP A BOMB ON A TERRORIST I THINK A GOOD IDEA WOULD BE TO HAVE THE BOMB DROP TO THE GROUND WITH A THUD AND A LITTLE SPEAKER START PLAYING THIS SONG. THEN WHEN THE TERRORIST ARE LIKE "WHEW, THAT WAS A CLOSE ONE WASENT IT HABEEB?" AND JUST AS HABEEB STARTS TO SAY "YES" THE BOMB BLOWS UP.

Too close to the fire
You gonna get burned.
Of course the law is gonna win if you try to fight it. What did you expect? If you robbing people with a six shooter you go to jail. I'm actually not really all that sorry for this dude. The song is meant to bring unity and a collective agreement of distain for authority but robbing people with a gun kills it. If he was in jail for stealing an apple from someone's farm it would work better. But because he robbed innocent people with a gun I have no sympathy. I hope he rots in jail. And his girlfriend which he speaks of and misses so much is better off without this violent asshole.
I whole heartedly agree. I used to just assume that this song had some sort of deeper political meaning similar to I Shot the Sheriff. then I read the lyrics and, nope, it is exactly what it is about. a dumb ass who robbed people with a gun and went to jail. And by using a gun, he aggregated the charges and will now do considerable time. And the dude deserves it. I hope his girl takes this opportunity to bail on his ass. And she probably will. But she will bail on him with his cell mate who will “look her up” after his release just to "check on her" and they will end up together. He will then beat her like a rented mule. so then she will write to her old boyfriend and tell him what happened and when he gets out he will beat the cell mate dude with a pipe and he will be right back in for aggravated assault and with two violent felonies that dude is going away for a long, long time. maybe he can hash it out with the jaded social worker who works at the jail. Probably not though since the social worker has a case load of about six hundred. Nuff said. Oh... Manning can stick it!
Nope. It's wishful thinking that she will dump his ass while he is in the can. She will stay with him. Women who date lame violent criminals are broken. They need to stay with their broken men cuz they themselves are broken. She will waste he best years of her life just waiting. And manning is the best QB in the nfl
Now just cause a girl is dating a criminal doesn't mean she's broken ~ just look at the lady that's going to marry Charles Manson ~ she seems normal....oh wait a second.
Manning will rise again and prove all of you poopsocks wrong
