You look so defeated lying there in your new twin size bed.
With a single pillow underneath your single head.
I guess you decided that that old queen was more space than you would need.
Now it's in the alley behind your apartment with a sign that says it's free.
And I hope you have more luck with this than me.
You used to think that someone would come along.
And lay beside you in a space that they belong.
But the other side of the mattress and box springs stayed like new.
What's the point of holding onto what never gets used?
Other than a sick desire for self-abuse.
And I try not to worry, but you've got me terrified.
It's like you're in some kind of hurry to say goodbye,
You look so defeated lying there in your new twin size bed.
You look so defeated lying there in your new twin size bed.

This writer of this song seems to be very impressed with his ability to create a metaphore of a smaller before for giving up on finding a partner. You used to have a queen sized bed but it never got used and now you are giving it away for free bla bla bla. It's an okay metaphore but kinda boring and juvenile. As far as the band goes this is just yet one more of those modern day bands with a retarded "clever" name. "Death cab for cutie ". What's that supposed to mean? Who the hell cares.
Dear Idiot,
Death Cab for Cutie is the title of a song in a Beatles movie called Magical Mystery Tour. You would not know that because I'm sure your favorite artist is Justin Beeber. I Don't know why Aggro keeps letting you post.
