Wow. I have never bothered to listen to these lyrics. It is indeed quite awesome. Life is mundane. Full of the everyday grind. Lots of bad shit. But it is also spotted with moments of pure magic. Moments that will remain locked in your memory for all time. Moments when it rains while the sun is shining. How beautiful. And it's approved by the dude. Which is nice too.
Yeah, I've heard this song many times, but I never knew it was about a sun shower
They say sun showers bring good luck
I like how the first verse is optimistic and the second is about the hydrologic cycle
This reminds me of the scenes at the beginning of Joe Vs The Volcano when he's at his horrible job
And on the way in, while everyone trudges through the bleak landscape, he finds a flower growing through the cracks
Those moments of magic are beautiful
