Wow. I never saw the video to this song. White guy puts out flyers for working class negros to come to his studio to record song, to help him get laid. And all he had to do to get them to come was show them a super cool, jive ass handshake. Now THAT IS LOVE! I loved this song growing up. In fact, I loved many songs by Foreigner. My brothers had the album on in the house everyday for a good stretch of time. It's a good song. But the video does not at all do the song justice. Whoever directed it should have been fired the second they were hired. Also, if you are looking for someone to show you what love is you will never find it. To experience real love all you need to do is let it shine through. But whatever

Uh I think this song is about a dude confusing getting laid with love. Little known fact... the lyrics used to be "I want to know what love is, I want you to show me, I want to know what love is, I want you to blow me." But the dudes band mates talked him out of it.
I used to love this song... but now that our king has decreed that foreigners are dangerous and not to be trusted I guess I cant like the song any more.
