Ah now this is a classic 70's Stones song - and the video was silly like most of them

This is also their second to last good album (Some Girls)

After Tattoo You - it was a downward spiral

But this is a great song that has a multitude of memories

I remember roller skating to this song

I had a girlfriend put this on a mix tape she made for me

I also remember playing with the original album cover

The album cover had a bunch of hairstyles and you could slide it left and right and put the faces on different hairdos

I also remember watching this video on Friday night videos which was years before MTV

The videos I remember on that show were this one, Super Freak & Once in a Lifetime by The Talking Heads

The funny thing about the Miss You video and all of the Stones videos for that matter

You would watch Mick Jagger just dance around and look kinda silly

and then the camera would pan back to Charlie Watts on drums - who would be rolling his eyes at Mick's antics

I always found that amusing ~ but it's a mighty cool song

This dude does not really love this chick. He is obsessed with her cuz he can't have her. The second he gets her he will be over it. And no more songs will be written about her. But he will find other things to write about. Because he will always have a thirst. He will always be searching for something he can't obtain. He will never find joy. He will just search and write songs and bang Puerto Rican chicks. He will search and write until he doesn't anymore.

What I remember about this song is that it was used in an 80's beer commercial were these cacti bend around and stop a beer truck and then drink the beer. Well you don't actually see them drinking the beer because that aint aloud but it was implied.

Also... at least the dude is writing and singing.
