Also younger than the sun
Ere the bonnie boat was won as we sailed into the mystic
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Smell the sea and feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows I will be coming home
And when the fog horn blows I want to hear it
I don't have to fear it
And I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
And magnificently we will flow into the mystic
When that fog horn blows you know I will be coming home
And when that fog horn whistle blows I got to hear it
I don't have to fear it
And I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
And together we will flow into the mystic
Come on girl...
Too late to stop now...
WELL... I'VE ALWAYS LIKED THIS SONG.... NEVER READ THE LYRICS... NOW I HAVE... I STILL LIKE THE SONG... EVEN THOUGH THE LYRICS ARE LARGELY MEANINGLESS

Well. It has some meaning. We were born before the wind. We are are all connected and essentially separate representations of one universal conciousness. Younger than the sun. We are ageless and timeless. We sail along the sea and need not fear the fog horn of death because there is no death. Only one living life. We are it. We all share it. Ultimately there is no “we”. He knows this. And so he just wants to get some lovin and have some fun and rock this hottie’s gypsy soul before it’s too late. A good song
Wow ~ that was a spot on song description Berv - well played
This is my favorite Van Morrison tune, just a catchy little sea shanty
This song has always made me feel as if I'm on a boat with a beautiful gypsy
but I've never seen the live performance before
Great voice, but he looks a high school science teacher - they cut a great groove though
Way to break and shake off that mold Van
'And magnificently we will flow into the mystic'
Good times, great oldies
