Come as you are, as you were
As I want you to be
As a friend, as a friend
As an old enemy
As a friend, as a friend
As an old enemy
Take your time, hurry up
Choice is yours, don't be late
Take a rest as a friend
As an old
Choice is yours, don't be late
Take a rest as a friend
As an old
Memoria, memoria
Memoria, memoria
Memoria, memoria
Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach
As I want you to be
As a trend, as a friend
As an old
As I want you to be
As a trend, as a friend
As an old
Memoria, memoria
Memoria, memoria
Memoria, memoria
And I swear that I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun

I always thought he was saying “ballerina”. Turns out it’s “memoria”. Neither of them make sense. What is this song about anyway? I looked up the word memoria and it’s Latin for memory. Makes no sense. But since he killed himself he gets to be in the camp with the legends. It’s better to burn out then to fade away. He will never have to worry about being an old has-been
This one takes me back to the time when MTV still played music videos
They played this video non-stop - you couldn't get away
That was the drawback of the video era in that they played a small selection of videos all day long
I remember there was a court case about this song
They took the guitar riff from the song 'Eighties' by Killing Joke, and just slowed it down
I listened to it, and they've got a good point
But when Kurt Cobain died, the case was dropped
Despite being overplayed into the dirt ~
there are still some great songs on Nevermind that have endured the test of time
and this ear worm is one of em'
