Wow. This might be the best song i've ever heard on songtime. I've never heard of the magnetic fields but they remind me of a band i would have loved in high school. this song is fuckin rad. maybe its cuz it sounds like an 80's band but the lyrics are also very rad. its true that there are very brief moments in your life that are like magic. and no matter how old you get and how many rad things you experience you just kinda long to go back to that magic moment.

Yes... one of my moments is watching waz trudge through the snow in his underpats toward the office of his apartment complex to get the key after he had locked himself out of his apartment complex. He had burst through the door in a fit of rage after I had repeatedly pushed the intercom button. But I was safely speeding away in the get away van driven by the wizard. In my darkest hours I can look back on that moment and it warms my heart.

The brief moments of magic can be few and fleeting, but at least we had them
