Alone Again Or by Love

 Yeah, said it's all right

I won't forgetAll the times I've waited patiently for youAnd you'll do just what you choose to doAnd I will be alone again tonight my dear
Yeah, I heard a funny thingSomebody said to meYou know that I could be in love with almost everyoneI think that people areThe greatest funAnd I will be alone again tonight my dear

Interesting lyrics dont match the tone of the song. But the song is cool anyway. The lyrics are a simple moment. I respect the clear thought

This dude seems to be very zen about being stood up. That’s pretty uncommon for a song. Usually there is pain and angst expressed. But this dude is just like hey if you ain’t gonna come, you ain’t gonna come and that’s fine too. Impressive.

This song makes me think of a chase scene in a movie

~ it's between two groups of people in Conestoga Wagons

I could also see this song being used in a dance concert

~ where everyone was dressed as dogs

Being stood up seems to be a pattern in this relationship, though

I feel he's at a crossroads and he needs to decide if she's a keeper

Or if he needs to let her go

This song came out in 1966

The Summer Of Love is in 1967

This guy better make up his mind, eh?
