I know nothing of Frank zappa except these lyrics. Yes there are people who would string me up for saying that but sometimes you just skate through life and shit misses you. Based on these lyrics alone I don't see what all the fuss is about. I suppose he thinks he knows what's best for his friend when he says stay at home Cuz the world is too much for you. It seems a bit arrogant and presumptuous to assume you know what's best for someone. Keeping this person at home with mama won't give much room for growth. Maybe he wrote it when he was feeling anger twords this person and this was a way to vent. Anyway I reckon this song wouldn't inspire me much.
I had actually thought this song was to a lover and he is saying "hey, if you are not mature enough to have a relationship go back to yo mama." Or if it is a friend who has not grown up he is saying "hey man, i've grown up, you havent, go back to your Mama.
Well its still damn presumptuous to assume you are more aquipped to handle the world.
