Well. This song does speak the truth. I could never really get into these nerd songs. Ryan was a huge Dr. Demento fan. It takes a very certain kind of nerd to appreciate songs of the doctor dimento library. You must be intelligent to like the songs. But not emotional intelligence. The kind of intelligent mind that can understand math and can remember things and understand the rules to dungeons and dragons and hundreds of other games. People like that all love Dr. Demento. But when i here these songs i don't really enjoy them. Maybe it's Cuz im better than most nerds.
I have to say that I had a moment of disbelief to read that Ryan was a big fan of Dr. Demento since my guess would be that he greatly scorned this type of music. But as Ryan is fond of saying we don't know anything about him. So I find it strangely comforting to know that he liked this music once. You are right this type of music does appeal to a certain kind of person. I however do not put the negative spin on it. I am happy to let people be what they may be. Nerd or no nerd. Don't matter to me.
Sad you see a negative spin. I only speak true words. Truth with no good or bad. No right or wrong. But only a nerd would not see that.
I was a huge Dr dementia fan. I listened to it religiously for years on end. I'm shocked that Aaron remembered this and not shocked Chris had no idea. Sometime I should have Chris do a detailed characterization of me... I'd like to find out who this person is. Or maybe it would be more accurate to get that from zeke since that's who it's coming from. In either case this is a poor selection for a song time post. You really wrote this one in, chris.
