Roads by Portishead

Oh, can't anybody see
We've got a war to fight
Never found our way
Regardless of what they say
How can it feel, this wrong
From this moment
How can it feel, this wrong
Storm, in the morning light
I feel, no more can I say
Frozen to myself
I got nobody on my side
And surely that ain't right
And surely that ain't right
Oh, can't anybody see
We've got a war to fight
Never found our way
Regardless of what they say
How can it feel, this wrong
From this moment
How can it feel, this wrong
How can it feel, this wrong
From this moment
How can it feel, this wrong
Oh, can't anybody see
We've got a war to fight
Never found our way
Regardless of what they say
How can it feel, this wrong
From this moment
How can it feel, this wrong

Do you remember Doug Benjamin?

He had an eclectic taste in music as I learned from him in Art class with Dusty Jackson

Although I didn't know Doug past high school, and these guys didn't show up till around 94'

I always thought to myself that this would be a band he liked, and I have no idea why

Yeah this song is dark, but inspiring

'Storm, in the morning light' - is a cool line

Great googly moogly the times are troubling

Doug Benjamin was rad. He was a nerd and had a rad bass. Yes I agree he would have liked this song. I bet he played it as soon as it came out. I'm glad Doug Benjamin is alive and I'm sure the dude who wrote this song is glad too. Cuz at least there is someone around who appreciates the darkness. I find it boring but I agree that the line about the storm in the morning is okay. Morning storms set the stage for a shit day.
