Spoonman by Soundgarden

Feel the rhythm with your hands
Steal the rhythm while you can, spoonman
Speak the rhythm on your own
Speak the rhythm all alone, spoonman

Spoonman, come together with your hands
Save me, I'm together with your plan
Save me

All my friends are Indians
All my friends are brown and red, spoonman
All my friends are skeletons
They beat the rhythm with their bones, spoonman

Feel the rhythm with your hands
Steal the rhythm while you can, spoonman

Thank you, good night people

Well. Reading the lyrics is much more pleasant than listening to the "music". Music is too kind a word, garbage is a better way to describe the sound. But the lyrics are rad. I love the spoons. I love that all the dude's friends are brown people and skeletons. I like the idea of a song that encourages the beating of spoons. I would love for somebody to write new music to these lyrics. They deserve better.

I remember Waz buying this album

I think this was the first single too, and boy does it get stuck in your head

Cool lyrics and yeah the beating of spoons is a good thing

I remember 'Black Hole Sun' was a weird ass video

But 'Fell on Black Days' was the best track on the disc

Soundgarden had some great songs over the years

& his voice was so powerfully incredible and unique

One of my all time favorite songs that he sings in, isn't even by Soundgarden

Right Turn by Alice and Chains

Damn good song

Waz texted me the day he passed - very sad day indeed

Well, sadly I must say again that Berv would not know good music if it ran up an bit him on the ass. Many many things bite him on the ass regularly and he does not know them.

Grunge reminds me of the opening salvo of my mission. The desolation of the music echoed the desolation of my soul. Somehow it was comforting to hear desolation so well expressed.

Shine on your crazy diamond. Or whatever grunge dudes do if they don't shine. Shine on your black hole sun.

Anyone who likes grunge music is a total fag.
