Blitzkrieg Bop by The Ramones

Hey ho, let's go! Hey ho, let's go!

Hey ho, let's go! Hey ho, let's go!
They're forming in straight line
They're going through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds
The blitzkrieg bop
They're piling in the back seat
They're generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat
The blitzkrieg bop
Hey ho, let's go
Shoot 'em in the back now
What they want, I don't know
They're all revved up and ready to go
They're forming in straight line
They're going through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds
The blitzkrieg bop
They're piling in the back seat
They're generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat
The blitzkrieg bop
Hey ho, let's go
Shoot 'em in the back now
What they want, I don't know
They're all revved up and ready to go
They're forming in straight line
They're going through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds
The blitzkrieg bop
They're piling in the back seat
They're generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat
The blitzkrieg bop
Hey ho, let's go! Hey ho, let's go!
Hey ho, let's go! Hey ho, let's go!

I think I was 8 years old when my brother’s band performed this song for the FCHS finale of Vaudeville. I was in the front row of the audience and my brother was on stage playing the guitar and he looked at me and signaled for me to come up on stage. I did not even hesitate. I ran up there and did the blizkreeg bop. I remember hearing lots of females screaming. It was a moment of glory.
Also Bret Goldstein loved the ramones. It was very funny when Davis stood behind him and karate chopped his temples for no reason whatsoever. He had a headache all day. Good times.

I remember the karate chop to Bret's temple - poor guy, but a great memory

I saw the Ramones in concert with Blondie & the Tom Tom Club with Katie Mangle

If you haven't seen the film CBGB, it's pretty good and it's got Alan Rickman

Anywho, The Ramones, Blondie and the Talking Heads all started at CBGB's

I would've loved to see these guys in their heyday at this venue, that would've been fun

Their movie 'Rock and Roll High School' would always come on at 1 in the morning when I lived in Albuquerque

Either that or the KISS movie, and both were horrible, but I still watched em

I remember when I joined the Columbia House 9 tapes for a penny deal, The Ramones Greatest Hits was one of my scores

I most certainly got my penny's worth
