Always Crashing in the Same Car by David Bowie

Every chance,
every chance that I take
I take it on the road
Those kilometres and the red lights
I was always looking left and right
Oh, but I'm always crashing
in the same car

Jasmine, I saw you peeping
As I pushed my foot down to the floor
I was going round and round the hotel garage
Must have been touching close to 94
Oh, but I'm always crashing
in the same car

THE END OF A ROUGH WEEK

It does not surprise me that this song was written by some dude named David. Like the uncompleted name the song is also lacking a second half. I'm always crashing my car. Must have been going at least 90. Thank you David for your keen words of insight. Now I can go about my day feeling a sense of peace and joy. Because you can drive a car. Does he have other songs? Maybe one about how he is always missing the toilet when he goes pee pee. Or one about always Messing up tying his shoes. What a wonderful contribution to the world.

Yeah that song is like it was written by a retarded 4 year old. Here's another song about cars... This one explores the ego driven need to reinforce the illusion of separateness and identity. It utilizes the physical compartmentalization of a human through sheet metal and plastic to emphasize the metaphoric isolation.

"Cars"

Here in my car
I feel safest of all
I can lock all my doors
It's the only way to live
In cars

Here in my car
I can only receive
I can listen to you
It keeps me stable for days
In cars

Here in my car
Where the image breaks down
Will you visit me please
If I open my door
In cars

Here in my car
I know I've started to think
About leaving tonight
Although nothing seems right
In cars

know what makes me sad? Angry little people who think Smurfs are real and look for them under their houses. Know what else. People who make blogs in other peoples name. Know what I like to do? Rat those people out to the real people.
