Fish heads fish heads
Roly poly fish heads
fish heads fish heads

In the morning laughing happy fish heads
In the evening floating in the soup
(chorus)
Ask a fish head anything you want to
they wont answer they cant talk.
(chorus)
I took a fish head out to see a mooovie
didnt have to pay to get it in.
(chorus)

they're not good dancers
They dont play drums!!

Rolypoly fishheads are never seen drinking capachino in Italian restaurants

I used to work with the wife of dude who wrote this song. It was all she talked about. How her husband wrote fish heads. She mentioned it any Chance she could. Now that is lame but at least this song is rad. I fact it's so rad that I can forgive her attention seeking behavior. Especially if you consider the time that it was written. I think this song is inspired by the likes of Monty Python and it helped bring that type of comedic sensibility to the states. After this song became famous our teenaged American youth changed forever. And their comedic preferences became ready for the type of insane humor popular today.

I read that it was the first time SNL did a short "movie" and not just live sketch comedy. It was so wildly popular that it became a SNL tradition.

Yes. Bill Paxton is in it. And he directed it. It reminds me of a home movie.
