Paradise Circus by Massive Attack

It's unfortunate that when we feel a stone
We can roll ourselves over 'cause we're uncomfortable
Oh well, the devil makes us sin
But we like it when we're spinning in his grip

Love is like a sin, my love,
For the ones that feel it the most
Look at her with her eyes like a flame
She will love you like a fly will never love you again

It's unfortunate that when we feel a stone
We can roll ourselves over when we're uncomfortable
Oh well, the devil makes us sin
But we like it when we're spinning in his grip

Love is like a sin, my love,
For the one that feels it the most
Look at her with a smile like a flame
She will love you like a fly will never love you again

SOME VERY AWKWARD METAPHORES HERE... I HAVE NEVER LOVED A FLY... EVER...

Love is not like a sin. Flies can't love. What is wrong with making yourself comfortable? Why is it bad to not feel the pain of a rock in your back? This song is written by crazy people. They made one album I loved a long time ago. Also a flame smile scares me.

Love is definitely not like a sin

C'mon, not everything that feels good, is a sin

I attest - insects got mad love

Rock in your back = princess and the pea

The devil doesn't make you sin, he's just your scapegoat

So is the metaphor saying that flies are like tennis players, in that love means nothing to them?

Yeah the song has a hint of maniacal influence

And I believe there is no happy ending when you have a smiling flame staring back at you
