Queen Jane Approximately by Bob Dylan

When your mother sends back all your invitations
And your father to your sister he explains
That you're tired of yourself and all of your creations
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?

Now when all of the flower ladies want back what they have lent you
And the smell of their roses does not remain
And all of your children start to resent you
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?

Now when all the clowns that you have commissioned
Have died in battle or in vain
And you're sick of all this repetition
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?

When all of your advisers heave their plastic
At your feet to convince you of your pain
Trying to prove that your conclusions should be more drastic
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?

Now when all of the bandits that you turned your other cheek to
All lay down their bandanas and complain
And you want somebody you don't have to speak to
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane ?

THIS VIDEO IS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS LIKE TO SEE BOB IN CONCERT. HE ACTS AS IF THE AUDIENCE IS NOT THERE. HE CAME OUT ON STAGE, PLAYED TWO SETS, AND DID NOT LOOK AT THE AUDIENCE. I THINK HE REALLY LOVED HIS SHOES BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT HE LOOKED AT. THEN HE WALKED OFF STAGE... AND THAT WAS THAT. BRILLIANT POET AND MUSICIAN BUT FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD AND SEEN, KIND OF AN ASS.

Why would you borrow flowers ? I've never heard of such a thing. Flowers have such a short life span. The idea of borrowing seems odd. I would never commission a clown to anything. Nobody likes clowns. Even if they say they do they are just lying. They say Dylan is a genius. I've heard some amazing stuff from him. He has a song called make you feel my love that is awesome. In fact many of his songs written in this century are rad. But many are not.

Yeah borrowing flowers is odd

- reminds me of when Milhouse's Dad came out with the hit single -

'Can I borrow a feeling'

I recently read that Tim Curry's performance as Pennywise the clown in the miniseries IT

- literally shaped the collective fears of an entire generation

I wasn't a fan of the clown in Poltergeist either

This is a good song on a probably one of Dylan's best albums

It has two of my favorites 'Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues' & 'It Takes a Lot To Laugh, It Takes a Train To Cry'

My dad's a big fan of Dylan & I like some of his early stuff

Although he's not everybody's flavor, that man knows how to write a great song

Yes clowns are very lame for the most part. When the big clown scare was going on last year some dumb ass dressed as a clown and walked by a school thinking he would scare the crap out of some kids. What he got was a near fatal beating from a mob who would have lynched him had the police not intervened. Now though we have the orange clown.
