My association with this song is the roller rink
I went rollerskating a lot as a kid, but that's because we all did
I wasn't a great skater, but I wasn't really there to skate
I was there for the video games, the candy and the suicide sodas we could make
Whenever this song came on the kids would rush to get out there and play along
This song would probably be a bit trickier for ice skaters
I remember the roller rink in Laramie was chill, but the one in Albuquerque was a bit rough
It was less fun and more about survival
But that's because Albuquerque is the left armpit of America

I thought in Laramie if you were suspected of danceing the hokey pokey they tied you to a split rail fence and beat you to death.
I remember this song at the roller rink too. We went to the roller rink in Fort Collins over Xmas break. I couldn’t remember if it was the same rink that we went to as kids. It was in the same area over by the hunt club. I also remember they sold giant pickles out of a large plastic barrel. Grody
