The Perfect Day by Lou Reed

Just a perfect day
Drink sangria in the park
And then later, when it gets dark
We go home

Just a perfect day
Feed animals in the zoo
Then later a movie, too
And then home

Oh, it's such a perfect day
I'm glad I spent it with you
Oh, such a perfect day
You just keep me hanging on
You just keep me hanging on

Just a perfect day
Problems all left alone
Weekenders on our own
It's such fun

Just a perfect day
You made me forget myself
I thought I was someone else
Someone good

Oh, it's such a perfect day
I'm glad I spent it with you
Oh, such a perfect day
You just keep me hanging on
You just keep me hanging on

You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow
You're going to reap just what you sow

THE CHICK IS THINKING "WELL I KIND OF LIKED HIM UNTIL HE GOT ALL CREEPY AND JESUSIE AT THE END"

Very odd ending. Kinda creepy. A perfect day for a murder. Also drinking sangria is lame. It is alcholic so it's lame. Also if it trendy so it's lame. Also zoos are lame. We like to pretend they are fun but really has anyone ever actually had fun at the zoo? No. no they haven't. How the hell could you?

Yeah I agree on the zoo bit

They're just sad & cruel

Animal sanctuaries are where it's at

I used to make sangria every day at one of my jobs

I was never that impressed

Well I suppose we all have our own versions of a perfect day

Perhaps this is why Lou Reed & I never hung out
