Pigs on the Wing Parts 1 & 2

If you didn't care what happened to me
And I didn't care for you
We would zigzag our way through the boredom and pain

Occasionally glancing up through the rain
Wondering which of the buggers to blame
And watching for pigs on the wing

 You know that I care

What happens to youAnd I know that you careFor me too
So, I don't feel alone on the weight of the stoneNow that I've found somewhere safe to bury my boneAnd any fool knows a dog needs a homeA shelter from pigs on the wing

I didn’t know that was a real factory. Where is it? Why did it make you sad? What is a pig on a wing? I assume it’s a flying pig. Pink Floyd always makes me sad. Roger waters is apparently an ass. Why are all the bands from the 70’s filled with so many lame dudes? Rad musicians but not good with people skills.

It is the Battersea Powerstation in London. Built in 1929 it provided power to London until 1981 when it was mothballed. It moldered until 2012 when rich folk bought it and turned it into a high end eating and living area.

I think that rock stars are usually lame. And Floyd came right at the top of the sex drugs and rock and roll era. Roger seems to have gone particularly bat shit in the last decade or so for some reason.

It is quite apparent you did not listen to the song Anon. Not one word about the music or lyrics.

This is one of my faves

A Pink Floyd ditty and it's a good one

'And any fool knows a dog needs a home' - great line and this song is full of them

Now the pigs on the wing has always reminded my of the gremlin on the wing in the Twilight Zone movie

That was scary good - and I'm not gonna lie, on the flights where I've been near the wing...

I might've checked for gremlins a couple times, you know, just to make sure

This also reminds me of 'Girl on a Wing' by the Shins, because it's a great song too

Yes I always check the engine of the plane when I am seated where I can see it. John Lithgow did going batshit with fear well. He was also good as the trans former pro football star in World According to garp. Shine on you crazy diamond.
