Intruder by Peter Gabriel

intruderI know something about opening windows and doors
I know how to move quietly to creep across creaky wooden floors
I know where to find precious things in all your cupboards and drawers
Slipping the clippers
Slipping the clippers through the telephone wires
The sense of isolation inspires
Inspires me
I like to feel the suspense when I'm certain you know I am there
I like you lying awake, your bated breath charging the air
I like the touch and the smell of all the pretty dresses you wear
Intruders happy in the dark
Intruder come
Intruder come and leave his mark, leave his mark

A DISTURBING SONG FOR ALL SAINTS DAY

This is one of Gabriel's creepier songs on one of his best albums ~ it also had 'Games Without Frontiers' and for the last song... 'Biko'.
Damn Peter!
En fuego!
~and I was lucky to see him in concert at Red Rocks.
Good times.

A few of my favorite Halloween-ish songs -
~This is Halloween - Nightmare Before Christmas
~Dead Man's Party - Oingo Boingo
~Lullaby - The Cure
~Boogie in Your Butt - Eddie Murphy
(Because let's face it, this fits in just about every holiday)

What the hell happened to Peter gabrial and Phil Collins anyway??? Some bad shit went down with them at some point that scared then. Of all the wonderful songs he wrote you choose this one? I will forgive in only because it is Halloween. A good song to celebrate a most Fucked up holiday. And why is it everyone's favorite holiday? What does that say about us? Jesus what a broken song. I have never heard it and never will. I shit myself off from all that hurts. I am a king
