Well I've never been to Cuba so I can't really fully appreciate this one. It does seem to literally be about celebrating Cuba. Here is what I know about Cuba:
It is full of people who can't come here.
It has good cigars
There was once some sort of crisis there in the 60's
People talk funny there
Not quite sure why anyone would be so exited to go there.
Well I'll be damned, I thought after these guys saw the sign that opened up their eyes, they were done creating music.
But no, here they are singing about Cuba.
Or they're singing about a Cuban rum and coke with a lime, because that's what a 'Cuba Libre' is.
My belief is that they're pretending to sing about Cuba, but they're really singing about the drink, because they're all a bunch of lushes.
Yes ace knows nothing of booz or cuba. And that talking funny is called Spanish berv. Maybe you've failed to notice 90% of the people in California speak it. I want to go to cuba. I want to see where earnest hemmingway died in a shootout to liberate cuba from comunist nazi in the civil war.
