Take the Skinheads Bowling by Camper Van Beethoven

Every day, I get up and pray to Jah
And he decreases the number of clocks by exactly one
Everybody's comin' home for lunch these days
Last night there were skinheads on my lawn
Take the skinheads bowling
Take them bowling
Take the skinheads bowling
Take them bowling
Some people say that bowling alleys got big lanes
Some people say that bowling alleys all look the same
There's not a line that goes here that rhymes with anything
I has a dream last night, but I forget what it was
I had a dream last night about you, my friend
I had a dream--I wanted to sleep next to plastic
I had a dream--I wanted to lick your knees
I had a dream--it was about nothing

WOW.... WOW... THIS PERFECTLY CAPTURES HIGHSCHOOL SONGWRITING. AND YES WE SHOULD TAKE THEM BOWLING.

I had a dream I wanted to sleep next to plastic. Wow. Yes this song is a perfect example of lame high school stupidity. Nobody cares about this meaningless garbage except for the dudes who wrote it. But I'm sure they had fun recording it. I miss those days. We wrote better songs. They couldn't even finish the damn song.

This song makes me think of The Big Lebowski

I never got into Camper Van Beethoven

But I liked his next band, Cracker - they had some good songs

I've always enjoyed bowling and I would say I'm decent

I enjoy the sharing of the shoes

I like to guess how many people have worn them before me
