Heart It Races by Dr. Dog

And we're slow to acknowledge the knots in our laces
Heart it races
And we go back to where we moved out, to the places
Heart it races

I bought it in a can, stirred it with my fingers, singing
Oom dada oom dadadada
Threw it out the window

Lately you been tan, suspicious for the winter, thinking
Oom dada oom dadada
Life's like little splinters
Life's like little splinters

And we're slow to acknowledge the knots in our laces.
Heart it races
And we go back to where we moved out, to the places
Heart it races

I sold it to a man, and threw him out that window
He went, oom dada oom dadada
Made his wife a widow

Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone
Heart it races alone

Well this makes no sense. How amazing is it to write songs nobody understands. How clever. And duh look how original I am. I can use a Autoharp and mix my vocals sloppy. Duh

Dr Dog is bit of an odd chap

He kind of reminds me of early Flaming Lips

I enjoy the version of this song he does with Architecture in Helsinki a bit better than the original

I have found that there a quite a few songs that improved when collaborating with another artist

Which makes me wonder how many cover songs were better than the original...hmm

P.S. 'Lonesome" by Dr Dog is a cool song

No. There is no good music in the world. It is all garbage
