Wow. I finally understand how my dad perceived rock music. He used to hear the music we were playing and say things like “it just sounds like loud noise” or that sounds like the garbage disposal”. I used to think he was a total idiot. But when I listened to this song I thought. Wow this just sounds like noise. I don’t even recognize it as music. I suppose I have turned into a lame person. I wish it were not happening. But it is.
You have been saying the same thing since songtime started in 2003 so you've been this way a loooooong time.
Well I can think a few bands that just sound like noise, but not Cheap Trick
They had some good songs and they had a few pages in the history of rock
My sister really liked these guys and had a few of their albums
So I listened to some of their stuff growing up
I always enjoyed 'If You Want My Love', 'I Want You To Want Me' & 'She's Tight'
I remember the album cover for The Dream Police distinctly
It takes me back to making mix tapes off of the record player
