Country by Porches

When the air hit my face
And it smelled like the truth
I saw you in the lake
I saw you in the lake

I lay flat on the bed
Really cools me off
Keep it dumb make it soft
Keep it dumb make it soft

Watch the water drip
From my mouth to yours
I like how you take a sip
I like how you take a sip

Can you make it light
Can you do no harm
Break the water with your arms
Break the water with your arms
Break the water with your arms
Break the water with your arms

This video and song is the downside of technology advancing to the point where anyone can record and album and shoot a music video.

This song makes more sense if the point of view is that of a dog

'The air hit my face' - dog hanging out window of car

'The smell of truth' - it writes itself

'Keep it dumb make it soft' - that was my Golden Retriever's daily mantra

'Break the water with your arms' - could be an icy pond, or simply breaking the surface of the water

Strange song, but the dog angle made it fun

Wow Dan- I had not even thought of the dog angle. That is brilliant. It is about a dog now for me. It makes it a much better song. You have a talent for viewing the world in interesting ways.

Wow Aaron- You have a talent for finding the negative.
