Beauty and the Beast by Angela Lansbury

 Tale as old as time

True as it can beBarely even friendsThen somebody bendsUnexpectedly
Just a little changeSmall to say the leastBoth a little scaredNeither one prepared
Beauty and the beast
Ever just the sameEver a surpriseEver as before and ever just as sure as the sun will rise(Oh, oh, oh, oh)
Ever just the sameEver a surpriseEver as beforeEver just as sureAs the sun will rise(Oh, oh, oh)
Tale as old as time (ooh, ooh, ooh)Tune as old as songBittersweet and strangeFinding you can changeLearning you were wrong
Certain as the sunCertain as the sunRising in the eastTale as old as timeSong as old as rhymeBeauty and the beast

Wow - her career spanned eight decades - that's insane

I didn't realize she was in National Velvet & Gaslight in 44' at the start of her career

I remember her from The Manchurian candidate and the 78' version of Death on the Nile

But my Mom was really into Murder She Wrote, so she'll always be Jessica Fletcher to me

She's incredible as the Teapot of course

But Jessica Fletcher solves crimes in her spare time, so....

An absolute delight who always lit up the scene

i grew up hating angela lansbury cuz i thought murder she wrote was so boring. but then as i got older i started to like her. i saw old photos and she was super beautiful. this is a very very rad song. joe hamilton loves her. but he loves all the old ladies
