Pressure Drop by Toots and the Maytals

 Hmm hmm hmm, yeah

Hmm hmm hmm, yeah
Hmm hmm hmm, yeah

It is you
(Oh yeah)
It is you, you
(Oh yeah)
It is you
(Oh yeah)

'Cause a pressure drop, oh pressure
Oh yeah, pressure drop, a drop on you
I say a pressure drop, oh pressure
Oh yeah, pressure drop, a drop on you

I say when it drops, oh you gonna feel it
Know that you were doing wrong
I say when it drops, oh you gonna feel it
Know that you were doing wrong

Hmm hmm hmm, yeah
Hmm hmm hmm, yeah
Hmm hmm hmm, yeah

I say a pressure drop, oh pressure
Oh yeah, pressure drop, a drop on you
I say a pressure drop, oh pressure
Oh yeah, pressure drop, a drop on you

It is you
(Oh yeah)
It is you, you
(Oh yeah)
It is you, you
(Oh yeah)

I say a pressure drop, oh pressure
Oh yeah, pressure drop, a drop on you
I say a pressure drop, oh pressure
Oh yeah, pressure drop, a drop on you

I say when it drops, oh you gonna feel it
Pressure, pressure, pressure, pressure
Pressure drop, oh pressure
Pressure, pressure, pressure, pressure

I say a pressure drop, oh pressure
Pressure, pressure, pressure, pressure
Pressure, pressure
Pressure gonna drop on you, you, you
Pressure, pressure

I would've loved to be at this show

A November 75' gig in San Francisco with Toots and the Maytals?

Yes please!

There's a lot of artists I wish I could've seen

But i was either a child or not yet thrust into this world

Toots and Bob Marley are two I wish I could've seen in the heyday of 70's Reggae

Funky Kingston is such a great album, so many classic tracks

This is such a great song, and I've always loved the cover by The Clash

Now I knew the version by the Clash first, but then I found the amazing soundtrack

'The Harder They Come'

- I never saw the movie, but I've played the soundtrack into the dirt and back again

And you are correct, my friend, Toots wrote this song about the pressure

Jamaican musicians were under as it was hard to make a decent living

I am a big fan of bob marley and peter tosh. i will investigate some toots. what a great name. i think also the dude who did the harmonica for seasame street was also named toots. i wonder if your name is toots if you fart more than the average person. i suspect so.
